End of an era: Day, Curbishley and Peacock have all left Charlton |
First-team coach Mervyn Day and assistant manager Keith Peacock have left Charlton Athletic. Day, who had held his position since 1998, left by mutual consent, while Peacock, who had been at Charlton since 1991, had his contract terminated.
Chairman Richard Murray said: "Following the departure of Alan Curbishley, we intend to reorganise the football management structure."
Andrew Mills has been appointed as the club's new general manager of football.
Peacock played 591 games for Charlton, making him second only to legendary goalkeeper Sam Bartram in terms of appearances.
