Teenager Tunay Toran may lead the Hamburg attack in Glasgow

Celtic's Europa League opponents Hamburg visit Glasgow on Thursday suffering from a long injury list.

Defenders Alex Silva, Collin Benjamin and Miroslav Stepanek plus striker Paolo Guerrero are all suffering from torn cruciate knee ligaments.

Defender Bastian Reinhardt (foot) and forward Mladen Petric (ankle) are also long-term casualties.

And during Saturday's 0-0 draw at home to Bayer Leverkusen striker Tolgay was hurt and substituted.

The Turk was replaced by fellow teenager Tunay Torun in the Bundesliga's top-of-the-table clash.

"My team worked very hard, but our last finishing touch was missing," said coach Bruno Labbadia, whose team remain in second place and are unbeaten after nine league games.

"Players like Petric and Guerrero are hard to replace and we struggled without them."

Hamburg sit second in Europa League Group C with three points, having lost to Rapid Vienna and beaten Hapoel Tel-Aviv, while Celtic have just one point from their games against the same opponents.
