Goalkeeper Boruc is enjoying life at Celtic Park this season

Goalkeeper Artur Boruc would consider signing a new contract at Celtic, insisting he is happy in Glasgow.

The 29-year-old still has almost two years left on his existing deal and has started this season in good form.

Asked about a possible transfer, the Polish international replied: "I don't know. We will see. I am not thinking about changing clubs.

"I am quite focused on Celtic just now. If they were to come up with a new contract, I would think about that."

Boruc suffered a major dip in form for both club and country last season and this week was omitted from the Poland squad for the World Cup double-header with the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

"I am not a machine. Everyone makes mistakes and I am the same," he added.

"But this is a new season, and I don't want to look back to the last one. I don't even want to mention it.

"I can feel my form getting better, but it is not the best I can do.

"I still have some work to go. We will see what happens in the next few weeks.

"It is a great club to play for. Everybody knows how passionate the supporters and players are to win the league, so it is really good to be here. I am still really enjoying it."
