Fox made his Celtic debut in the Wembley Cup win over Al-Ahly
Celtic have signed left-back Daniel Fox from Coventry for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old has agreed a four-and-a-half year contract and he made his debut in the 5-0 Wembley Cup win over Egyptian champions Al-Ahly.
"It's all happened so fast but I'm delighted to be here," the ex-England Under-21 star told the club website.
"This is a massive move for me. I couldn't sleep on Thursday night because I was so eager to get down and meet the lads in London."
Fox made his Celtic debut after coming on as a second half substitute against Al-Ahly on Friday and he will be hoping to start the game against Tottenham on Sunday in the same competition.
And the Glasgow club host Moscow Dinamo on Champions League qualifying duty on 29 July.
The deadline for registering their squad for the third qualifying round passed on Wednesday but Celtic can get round that if they exercise the one wildcard option each club has for the competition.
"The size of Celtic speaks for itself," added Fox. "You have the history, the fan base, the stadium and there's the added bonus of European football.
"I want to test myself at the highest level and there is no better place to do it than at Celtic. I'm just looking forward to getting started."
Fox moved to the Ricoh Arena from Walsall 18 months ago.
The Sky Blues fought off stiff competition to land the defender on a three-and-a-half-year deal, and he quickly established himself as the leading set-piece taker in the Coventry team.
