Boruc joins the Celtic attack to try to break the deadlock against Hibernian
Goalkeeper Artur Boruc has urged the Celtic fans to get behind the team when they face Hearts at home on Sunday.
The Parkhead side are two points behind Rangers in the Scottish Premier League, but victory over Hearts and a draw for Rangers would clinch a Celtic title.
Boruc told the Celtic View: "The supporters are always important for us. They are like an extra man.
"It's going to be a big day for the club and we need the supporters more than ever. They always get behind us."
"Hopefully we can all enjoy a special day this weekend."
The Polish international won the club's goal of the season award for his penalty in the Co-operative Insurance Cup semi-final shoot-out victory against Dundee United.
"I was pleased to get the award and it makes it even better that the supporters voted for me," said Boruc.
"I just want to say thanks to them for giving me the award.
"I must admit though that I just shut my eyes and hoped for the best."
