Strachan believes there are plenty of surprises yet to come this season
Celtic manager Gordon Strachan believes consistency will be crucial if his side are to secure their fourth consecutive Scottish Premier League title.
Strachan, whose side are three points clear of Rangers with 10 games to go, said they have struggled for form.
"You try to hopefully get a consistent run going," Strachan said.
"We've being trying to do it since the start of the season. We've had periods where we can and can't do it, which is where the inconsistency comes in."
Strachan said he was not surprised that Aalborg fought back from 2-0 down to take Manchester City to a penalty shoot-out in their Uefa Cup tie on Thursday.
Aalborg did well for a pub team

The Danish outfit lost to Mark Hughes' side, but Strachan said he still believes Celtic should have defeated Aalborg in the Champions League last year.
"Aalborg did well for a pub team," said Strachan.
"They beat Deportivo last time and took Man City to penalties so it's not as embarrassing as the season goes on.
"We still should have got through. We take full responsibility for that.
"But it looks like Aalborg are not as bad as people made out."
