Brown has seen Celtic's title challenge stutter in recent weeks
Midfielder Scott Brown believes it is time for Celtic to show the resilience of last season in their bid to capture their fourth title in a row.
Celtic, with just three wins in their last 10 league games, have surrendered a seven-point lead to Rangers, who head the table on goal difference.
"We were seven points down last season and we came back," said Scotland star Brown. "That shows our fighting spirit.
"We know we have got that so we have to bring it back out."
Celtic have struggled in front of goal of late, with the three main strikers - Scott McDonald, Jan Venegoor of Hesselink and Georgios Samaras - yet to reach the 30 mark in total.
Brown, however, is relaxed about the Celtic forward line's relative drought.
He joked: "Everyone goes through that - I've gone through it for seven years so I know how it feels.
"The rest of us need to chip in with goals as well.
"There's not been a lot of goals from midfield recently so hopefully we can come through and help the lads out.
"It will come together and hopefully it will be on Saturday but if not, we have a game on Wednesday and we will keep going.
"If you see the lads in training, they are scoring for fun.
"They just need that we bit of luck and hopefully when one of them gets a goal it will continue on."
Ben Hutchinson has hit 14 goals for the reserves but manager Gordon Strachan is unlikely to look to the former Middlesbrough striker, who has made only two substitute appearances this term.
On Hutchinson, Strachan was quite succinct, saying: "There are people in front of him at the moment.
"He is scoring goals for the reserves but I was at the reserve game the other day and there were people who made their mark without scoring goals, players who made chances for Ben and they have to be taken in to consideration as well."
One player who has impressed the manager is Simon Ferry, with the 20-year-old midfielder included in the squad for Saturday's SPL match with St Mirren.
"I can only pick so many people but as long as you are signed by the club then you have a chance," added Strachan.
"Young Simon Ferry, who has been out for nearly three years, trained with us on Thursday and was truly magnificent.
"If you asked Simon last week where he thought his future was, he wasn't going too far but this week he has trained with the first team, he has been absolutely sensational and, because of that, we are rewarding him.
