Celtic's understrength team defeated Derry City 1-0 in Tuesday's friendly clash at the Brandywell.

Ben Hutchinson hit the Celtic winner midway through the second half in a game watched by around 3,000 people.

The match had been arranged as part of Paddy McCourt's transfer from Derry to Celtic during the summer.

McCourt played in a Celtic side that had ex-AC Milan man Massimo Donati. Derry's team was completely changed from Monday's win over Linfield.

Played in atrocious conditions, it was not a match which will live long in the memory.
