Strachan handed debuts to Shaun Maloney, Glenn Loovens and Marc Crosas
Celtic manager Gordon Strachan was thrilled with the performance of Shaun Maloney who returned to help Celtic to a 3-0 victory over Falkirk in the SPL.
Maloney received a warm welcome from the home support when he replaced Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink and contributed to all three of Celtic's goals.
"I reassured him that everyone at the club was excited about him being back," said Strachan
"So I couldn't imagine the supporters wouldn't be the same," said Strachan.
Strachan also handed debuts to Dutchman Glenn Loovens and former Barcelona midfielder Marc Crosas and was equally pleased with the performances of both.
"Nobody let us down today, really," said Strachan.
"We maybe didn't play as well as we should have in the first half hour, but once we introduced Shaun, that helped as well.
"I was happy with Marc Crosas went he went on as well, but there wasn't really any disappointments with the team really."
