Celtic striker Derek Riordan could seal a move to Championship side Burnley before the end of the week.
Burnley boss Owen Coyle failed with a 400,000 bid for the former Hibernian player in January and is keen to capture the 25-year-old this summer.
No new bid has been made but an agreement could be reached before Celtic begin pre-season training.
Riordan has made a total of 32 appearances since joining Celtic in 2006, scoring eight goals.
The forward, who had a loan spell at Cowdenbeath during his time at Hibs, has been capped once by Scotland.
