 Lennon was named player of the month for April |
Celtic captain Neil Lennon has been named the Bank of Scotland SPL player of the month for April. Lennon, 35, who is leaving the club when his contract expires in the summer, has helped Celtic to two consecutive SPL titles and five in all.
During the month, he helped his side to a 1-0 home win over Motherwell and a 2-1 victory against Kilmarnock which clinched the championship.
Lennon will end his Celtic career in the Scottish Cup final on 26 May.
