Gordon Strachan said his side were slack in the closing stages |
Celtic boss Gordon Strachan sought to play down the spat between captain Neil Lennon and Aiden McGeady after the 2-1 win over Dunfermline at East End Park. "Lenny has a fear of getting beat, of goals going in against you and a fear of standards slipping - there's nothing wrong with that fear," said Strachan.
"Obviously, it's disconcerting when it happens in public - but that happens."
On his side's win, Strachan said: "I thought our back four gave nothing away until the end when we got a bit slack."
Strachan said Bobo Balde played well as did his full-backs Lee Naylor and Mark Wilson.
"I thought Darren O'Dea was the man of the match," Strachan said.
"He's a young man and he wants to play at this club and I told him before the game 'do what you do best'.
"I thought our passing was sloppy at times - whether that's the conditions or not I don't know."
