Celtic manager Gordon Strachan praised his players for their efforts in winning against Aberdeen at Pittodrie. The Parkhead side clinched victory with striker Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink's goal in the 79th minute.
"The team worked hard today. Aberdeen are unbeaten in the league this season so they'll have been fired up for this," he said.
"Of any away game this week, this was the hardest, so we're happy with the result and to get the three points."
