Kennedy consults lawyers
John Kennedy (left) limps off after his tackle with Vio Ganea
Scotland defender John Kennedy is considering legal action against Romania forward Vio Ganea.

Kennedy, who plays for Celtic, faces up to a year out injured after a challenge with Ganea in last month's friendly international at Hampden.

"The tackle was an absolute disgrace and we are looking to see what legal action we can take," said his representative, Jonathan Barnett.

"John is very hurt and bitter with what has happened.

Barnett: "He faces a real battle to get back to fitness and a year out of football so who could blame him."

Kennedy is currently in the US waiting to undergo surgery.

Barnett has already been successful in a similar claim when he helped Bradford's Gordon Watson gain a substantial sum after he was hurt by a challenge by Huddersfield's Kevin Gray.
