Defender Liam Cooper has ended his 28-day loan spell at Carlisle United and returned to Hull City.
The 19-year-old made seven appearances in two loan spells but has not featured recently and was left out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final squad.
United manager Greg Abbott told BBC Radio Cumbria: "He's not been playing much here.
"So he wants to return to his parent club and make a good impression there, and you have to respect that."
