Norwood made seven appearances during his first month at Carlisle
Carlisle United have extended the loan of Manchester United midfielder Oliver Norwood for a further month.
Norwood, 19, has featured in all seven of Carlisle's matches and started five of those since completing his loan move to Brunton Park in September.
"I've really enjoyed it here and there have been some great games," Norwood told the club website.
"Making my debut against Brighton was a real high point, and the lads have been fantastic with me."
He continued: "It's great for me to be able to stay because it's been a really good experience.
"Hopefully I'll keep doing my bit to keep the team at the top end of the table."
We're happy to keep him here for a further month, we've seen what he is about and what he can do
Carlisle boss Greg Abbott
Carlisle boss Greg Abbott added: "Olly has done well since he joined us and he is learning about football at this level with every game.
"With Paul [Thirlwell] still injured we need cover in that area and he has settled well, and he likes what we are trying to do.
"We're happy to keep him here for a further month, we've seen what he is about and what he can do, and we can look at it again once we get into November."
