Carlisle United boss John Ward has hailed goalkeeper Keiren Westwood after his saves helped secure Tuesday's 1-0 win over Crewe at Gresty Road. The win ended a run of away defeats going back to October and Ward praised the 23-year-old for his display.
"We've attacked Crewe and pressed them and suddenly they kick you up the backside," he told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"I expected to see the ball in the back of the net but Keiren's pulled off match-winning saves."
Next up for the Cumbrians is a visit to Nottingham Forest on Monday and Ward believes confidence is high within his squad.

"It's a game to look forward to. My players are all lit up with a big smile and they're thinking 'bring it on'," he said.
"We'll go in with a smile on our faces, rubbing our hands and saying this is what we want to be involved in.
"We're in a good strong position to see if we can get something from Nottingham."
