Carlisle boss John Ward feels the signing of Scottish striker Scott Dobie has brought a buzz to Brunton Park. The Cumbrians are chasing promotion from League One this season and Ward believes Dobie's presence will have a positive effect on his squad.
He told BBC Radio Cumbria: "When you've got a happy footballer you hope that they can transmit that onto the football pitch.
"There's a good-feel factor about Scott coming in."
Dobie's arrival added to that of Evan Horwood and Grant Smith, and Ward believes that the investment in playing staff proves the ambition surrounding the club.

He said: "Three years ago the club was in the Conference and now we're in the top six of this division.
"There's certainly ambition in the dressing room, there's certainly ambition on the pitch and there's certainly ambition in the boardroom."
