| Carlisle have signed 16-year-old striker Andrew Cook, who has been playing for the Durham county side, as a first-year youth player. "I went to watch him at the weekend when Durham played Cheshire in Middlesbrough," youth team boss Eric Kinder told the Cumbrians' website. "He is about 6ft 2ins, he's strong and looks really confident on the ball. "Bolton were also there to watch him, but we had a word with him and he has decided to come and sign for us."
