Former Bolton and Blackburn midfielder Matt Jansen will train with Carlisle in a bid to regain his fitness ahead of the new season. The 29-year-old, who started his career at Brunton Park, was released by Bolton and his looking for a new club.
Neil McDonald told the club website: "Matt has asked to train with us as he works on his fitness and sharpness.
"He's working very hard so he'll be here with us as he gets himself back up to a decent level."
