Carlisle manager Neil McDonald has warned his side not to take their foot off the pedal despite sealing a 2-1 pre-season friendly win over Kendal. Derek Holmes and Michael Bridges were both on the scoresheet, but McDonald told the club's website: "We expect much better than that.
"I'm very disappointed because we gave Kendal too much time on the ball.
"If you give the good teams that amount of time they are going to hurt you. The players know what I want from now on."
