Raven made his Liverpool debut in December 2004 |
New Carlisle manager Neil McDonald has made Liverpool defender David Raven his first signing since taking over. The 21-year-old is a product of the Reds' academy after being recruited from Tranmere Rovers and has signed a two-year contract at Brunton Park.
The former England Youth captain told the club website: "Carlisle is a club that is obviously on the way up.
"There are some good players, and the club has great backing on and off the field, so it is a good place to be."
