Carlisle boss Paul Simpson has opened talks with on-loan striker Michael Bridges about extended his stay. Bridges' spell from Bristol City ends at the end of the month and Simpson is keen to hold onto the 27-year-old, who has scored in his last two games.
"We're just talking about keeping him here for as long as possible," Simpson told the News and Star.
"There'll be more talks to come between myself and Gary Johnson, and myself, Bridgey and his agent."
Simpson added: "We'll see whether we can get something sorted."
