Carlisle United's assistant manager Dennis Booth has signed a new deal to extend his stay at Brunton Park. Booth has agreed a two-year contract extension, which will keep him with the play-off contenders until June 2007.
Meanwhile, Carlisle boss Paul Simpson is to make his comeback from injury in a Cumberland Cup tie on Monday.
The 38-year-old has been restricted to one first-team appearance this season because of knee and calf injuries, but has no plans to hang up his boots.
