Carlisle have completed the signing of Simon Hackney from Unibond League First Division side Woodley Sports. The 21-year-old winger scored two goals in two games for United's reserves recently and has signed until the end of next season for a nominal fee.
"He's got plenty of potential," manager Paul Simpson told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"We'll get him on a weights programme over the coming months then the real test for him will be next season but he has to talent to succeed.
