Murphy signs new Cumbrians deal
Carlisle midfielder Peter Murphy has signed a new contract at Brunton Park.

The 24-year-old, who scored the winning goal in the Conference play-off final, has agreed a two-year deal to extend his Brunton Park stay until June 2007.

"It's good to get it all finalised and I'm really happy with the squad I have in place at the moment," Carlisle boss Paul Simpson told his club's website.

Murphy has started over 170 games for Carlisle since joining the club from Blackburn Rovers in August 2001.
