 Booth is vastly experienced |
New Carlisle boss Paul Simpson has appointed vastly experienced coach Dennis Booth as his new assistant. Booth has previously worked within the England under-21 set-up and coached at Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa, Huddersfield, Hull and Bristol Rovers.
He also played for Hull, as well as Charlton, Crewe, Southend, Lincoln and Watford.
Booth replaces John Ward, who left his temporary post at Brunton Park in a bid to land a managerial job.
Meanwhile, Simpson has extended the loan spell of Hartlepool United striker Kevin Henderson for a second month.
