Ross McCormack was the subject of a bid from Hull City last summer
Cardiff City boss Dave Jones has revealed Gavin Rae has joined Ross McCormack in holding talks about a possible move to Leeds United.
The Championship new boys have agreed an undisclosed fee for Scottish international striker McCormack.
Now Rae will join him in discussing terms with the Championship new boys.
"Ross is going up to Leeds to have a talk with them and I think [midfielder] Gavin Rae is as well," said Cardiff manager Dave Jones.
"I've said we need to move people out to bring people in and unfortunately they're the ones and maybe one or two more will go as well."
Midfielder Rae spent 12 years in Scottish football with Dundee and Rangers before joining the Bluebirds on a free transfer from the latter in the summer of 2007.
He has since made 131 Cardiff appearances, scoring seven goals.
McCormack, 24, has scored 33 goals in 88 appearances for the Bluebirds since joining from Motherwell for £110,000 in the summer of 2008.
In his first season, he was top scorer with 24 goals.
But McCormack struggled with injuries and form last season and has fallen down the pecking order this season with the arrival of Craig Bellamy on loan from Manchester City.
Cardiff boss Dave Jones hinted earlier this month that McCormack would be allowed to leave and Championship rivals Ipswich Town were linked at one stage.
His future was the subject of speculation last summer after scoring his 24 goals in his debut season.
McCormack signed a new four-year deal then, but it failed to deter other clubs with Portsmouth declaring an interest, while Hull, who were then in the Premier League, had a £4m bid rejected.
