New Ipswich boss Roy Keane will be present at Ninian Park on Saturday
Dave Jones is confident the Roy Keane effect will not distract from Cardiff City's bid to beat Ipswich Town.
Keane has taken over the reins as Ipswich manager following the sacking of Jim Magilton, even though club coach Bryan Klug is in charge on Saturday.
"Their players will be up for it now because they will want to impress the new manager," warned Jones.
"But it doesn't change for us. Whether new manager in, old manager or they can't find anybody."
Jones insists Cardiff will concentrate on their own game and getting the one point they need to confirm their place in the Championship play-offs, rather than concern themselves with Keane.
It will be the last league game to be played at Ninian Park before Cardiff move over the road to their new Leckwith Stadium, although the old ground could yet host a play-off game.
"Our preparation is still the same and still has to be and because they get a new manager doesn't mean they are going to be a fantastic team overnight," added Jones.
"Roy will know he has work to do. There will be players who want to impress but they should have been impressing all of the season."
The 37-year-old Keane, who signed a two-year contract on Thursday, has been out of work since December when he resigned as Sunderland manager, the club he took from the Championship to the Premier League.
"I truly believe I am joining a club that has the potential, ambition and infrastructure to once again be a Premier League side," said Keane.
