Mark Kennedy has experienced promotion to the top flight twice
Cardiff midfielder Mark Kennedy says he is treating his return to former club Crystal Palace as "just another game."
Republic of Ireland international Kennedy, 32, joined the Bluebirds from Palace last summer after spending half of his two years there injured.
"It's a cracking club, but my second year was blighted by injury so I only played regularly for a year," he said.
"But it's another game to be honest. I'm a Cardiff player now and I'm just looking to get three points."
Fifth-placed Cardiff need the three points to keep hopes of automatic promotion alive.
They are eight points behind second-place Birmingham and will go into Saturday's game already knowing how three of their main rivals have fared.
Leaders Wolves host struggling Southampton, while it is fourth v third as Reading are at home to Sheffield United.
But Kennedy, who has tasted promotion success with Manchester City and Wolves in his career, thinks Cardiff have what it takes to go up.

"It really reminds me of when I played for Manchester City," he said.
"They had come up from League One and after a double relegation, they were just on their way back.
"One thing I really found was the spirit in the dressing room and it can really take you a long way having a tight bond of togetherness.
"That's something we really have here. We also have a very good team that's capable of going far."
He added: "We are concentrating on getting promoted automatically and until that is mathematically impossible, we will not look at the next scenario.
"We are looking up and not looking down. The most important thing is taking each game as it comes.
"There will be lots of ups and downs before the end of the season."
