Michael Chopra was injured in his first home game in his third spell at Cardiff
Cardiff City's injury crisis could dent their Championship promotion bid as four players picked up injuries in their 0-0 draw with QPR on Wednesday.
Michael Chopra joined fellow striker Jay Bothroyd on Dave Jones' sick-list as hobbled off with a heel injury.
Bluebirds full-back Kevin McNaughton hobbled off with a hamstring strain while Roger Johnson (groin) and Gavin Rae (hip) also picked up problems.
The four face a race against time to be fit for Saturday's trip to Southampton.
Play-off chasing Cardiff, who move up to fourth in the division with games in hand after Wednesday's stalemate with Rangers, were already without Bothroyd (calf), defender Gabor Gyepes (hamstring) and midfielder Stephen McPhail.
But Jones now has four new injury concerns and he admitted: "We'll have to check them all on Thursday.
"But I feel we've a squad big enough top cope so we'll just dust ourselves down and go again."
Former England under-21 international Chopra was replaced by Peter Whittingham in the 65th minute with his heel problem and McNaughton hobbled off at half-time to be replaced by Miguel Comminges.
