Cardiff youngster Chris Gunter has been a target for Everton |
Cardiff manager Dave Jones has welcomed renewed interest in his players from other clubs - because he says that means they are playing well for him. Chris Gunter, 18, and Joe Ledley, 20, have impressed recently in games for both the Bluebirds and for Wales.
Cardiff have rejected bids for Gunter from Everton this season, while Ledley is also getting Premiership interest.
"Because players are playing well for you, the likes of Joe and Chris, then speculation will come," Jones said.
"Chris has had two good games at international level and two good games for us.
"Does that constitute teams looking at him again? I would hope so because that means the kid is doing really well for us."

Cardiff have always maintained that every one of their players is for sale, but Jones again reiterated that the club would not let any of their squad go on the cheap.
"If the price is right for the football club, I'm sure the board will take a decision as to whether it is the right one to let people go," Jones added.
"But at the moment we're trying to build here and keep all our best talent, but if the price is right then you let them go because it can strengthen your club in other areas."
Sixteen-year-old Aaron Ramsey, who shone for Wales Under-21s in their 4-2 win over France, is another attracting admiring glances from richer clubs.
Cardiff have had a lacklustre season so far, but stopped the slide towards the Championship drop zone this week with a win over Ipswich and a draw at Leicester.
