Ridsdale says that the club are awaiting a new court date |
Cardiff City's legal battle with financial backers Langston has been put back from 21 November. The club were due in court on that date in a dispute over 24m of loan notes.
But Cardiff chairman Peter Ridsdale confirmed to BBC Sport Wales that the hearing has now been delayed, with the club awaiting a new date.
Langston's solicitors, Hextalls, claim the club's board was mismanaging its finances and misleading supporters, and want the money to be paid immediately.

Cardiff dispute this and insist the loan is not due to be paid back until 2016.
"If Langston, or those people representing Langston, were to do the right thing and sit down and talk to us and resolve this, we wouldn't be having any of this nonsense anyway," said Ridsdale.
