Langley moved from QPR to Cardiff in August 2003 |
Queens Park Rangers manager Ian Holloway says he would be interested in bringing Cardiff midfielder Richard Langley back to the club. But he says he would only do it if the player was ready to take a pay cut.
"Cardiff are paying him double what we were and I can't meet those wages," said Holloway, who sold the 25-year-old to Cardiff for 250,000 in August 2003.
"I can understand why some Cardiff fans don't like Richard but you have to give him a chance. He's a terrific player."
Cash-strapped Cardiff face the task of trimming their playing squad over the summer.
They need to reduce a wage bill that the Ninian Park side, more than 30m in debt, can ill afford.
