Cardiff striker Cameron Jerome has been called into the England Under-21 squad following his fine start to the season. Jerome, who turns 19 this month, has struck eight goals already this term.
"I thought the call would come. I am playing at a good level with Cardiff and scoring goals," Jerome told the official Cardiff City website.
Peter Taylor's young England side face European Championship qualifiers against Austria at Elland Road this Friday and then Poland at Hillsborough.
