Cardiff manager Dave Jones paid tribute to Jason Koumas after the midfielder's superb free-kick sealed a scrappy Carling Cup win over Macclesfield. "The lad has everything you need at the highest level," Jones said of Koumas, on a season-long loan from West Brom.
"He fell off the ladder for whatever reason, but he's starting to rebuild and not many people in the Premiership could score a goal like that.
"I'm pleased for him, his girlfriend, and his son who was born this week."
