Cambridge United have signed defender Aidan Collins following his release by Ipswich Town. The 20-year-old centre-back has joined the U's initially on a non-contract basis for a month.
Collins made a handful of first-team appearances for Ipswich after coming as well as playing on loan at Wycombe and Stockport.
Meanwhile, Cambridge have decided to release 28-year-old former Grimsby and Lincoln City defender Matt Bloomer.
