Cambridge United have signed three young players on free transfers from neighbours Cambridge City. Strikers Michael Gash and Robbie Simpson have signed one-year contracts, as has midfielder Josh Simpson.
Gash and Josh Simpson, both 19, both came through City's youth ranks but had established themselves in the first team over the last two seasons.
Robbie Simpson, 21, joined City from Norwich, and made his first team debut at the tender age of 16 in 2002.
