Riza to make Cambridge exit
Omer Riza
Riza started his career as an Arsenal trainee
Cambridge United striker Omer Riza is set to leave the Abbey Stadium after rejecting a new deal.

Riza scored 17 times for Cambridge this season but manager John Taylor now expects the 23-year-old to be on the move this summer.

"He has rejected our contract offer and he's probably off to pastures new," Taylor told the club's website.

However, U's captain Paul Wanless has signed a new 12-month contract and midfielder Terry Fleming has agreed a similar deal.

Taylor is waiting to hear whether defender Izzy Iriekpen wants to join the club on a permanent basis from West Ham.

But David Theobald isn't being offered a contract and Tony Scully, Daryl Bourgeois, Daniel Huggins, Owen Paynter and Graham Rush are also being released.
