Lowe scored 18 goals for Bury in League Two last season
Wycombe boss Gary Waddock has targeted Bury striker Ryan Lowe as he prepares for life back in League Two next season, BBC Sport understands.
Lowe, 31, has scored 18 goals in each of his last two seasons at that level.
The Liverpudlian joined Bury from Chester City in June 2009 and still has a year to run on his Shakers contract.
He began his career with non-league Burscough before joining Shrewsbury in 2000 and has had a stint with Crewe as well as two spells with Chester.
Wycombe finished 22nd in League One this season, meaning they will return to the Football League's basement division just a year after winning promotion.
