Bury fans moved to accommodate travelling Port Vale
Bury's Gigg Lane home has a capacity of 11,840
Bury have been forced to move some season-ticket holders for Saturday's game with Port Vale in order to accommodate the travelling fans.
Gigg Lane's West Stand, the usual away end, has a capacity of 2,100 but over 2,500 Vale fans are expected to attend.
As a result, Vale fans have been allocated the East and Family stands.
"There are concerns about the situation that could arise should Port Vale supporters be refused admission," said a Bury statement.
"This change has been forced upon us at late notice and for that we apologise."
Bury fans with season tickets in the East and Family stands have been asked to move to the West and Main stands.
The game is vitally important for both sides in their hunt for promotion from League Two.
The Shakers currently lie fifth in the table, six points behind Bournemouth in third and two points ahead of Aldershot, who occupy the final play-off place.
Micky Adams' Vale, who have lost just once in eight games, lie two places and two points behind the Shots.
Vale's allocation of tickets for the match has been upped to 2,900, which is around the average attendance for games at Gigg Lane this season.
