Bury sign West Bromwich Albion's David Worrall

Bury have signed West Brom midfielder David Worrall on a free transfer after he signed a two-and-a-half year deal.

Worrall, 19, recently completed a six-month loan spell at Gigg Lane, making 21 appearances and scoring four goals.

The youngster had begun his career in the Shakers academy before moving to the Baggies as a 17-year-old.

But he failed to make an impact at The Hawthorns, making just one first-team start in the Carling Cup and had loan spells at Accrington and Shrewsbury.

West Brom will be due a percentage of any transfer fee if Worrall is sold before the end of the 2011/12 season.
