Haslam has changed his mind over whether to stay at Halifax |
Bury have swooped to sign right-back Steve Haslam from Halifax Town. The former Sheffield Wednesday man had indicated in May that he would stay at the Shay after being offered a new deal by Town boss Chris Wilder.
But Bury's offer has tempted Haslam, 27, to return to League football and he is understood to have agreed a two-year contract at Gigg Lane.
Haslam made over 100 appearances for Halifax in two spells, either side of a brief stint at Northampton.
