Bury will receive a cash windfall after former striker David Nugent - now a Preston player - made his full England debut in the Euro 2008 qualifiers. Nugent, 21, came on as a substitute and scored in the 3-0 win against Andorra.
Bury will receive around �25,000 as a further part of the �110,000 deal that took Nugent from Gigg Lane to Preston in January, 2005.
Shakers boss Chris Casper told his club's website: "Bury played a big part in his development in his career."
