Casper had offered to resign over the FA Cup expulsion |
Bury have offered a new long-term deal to manager Chris Casper. The Bury boss, who is expected to sign a deal running until June 2009, had offered to resign after the club's expulsion from the FA Cup.
"This shows how much belief we have in the manager," Bury director Iain Mills told the club's website.
Former Manchester United and Reading defender Casper, 31, took charge of the Shakers in September, 2005 and has made them promotion contenders.
