Bury defenders Colin Woodthorpe and Chris Brass have signed one-year deals. Boss Chris Casper was keen to complete the signings of his defensive unit ahead of the new season.
Casper told the club's website: "We didn't have too many problems at the back last season so we didn't want to disrupt it too much.
"They were outstanding towards the end of the campaign and brought a steadying influence into the dressing room when things were getting a bit fraught."
