| Bury have had one point deducted and been handed a suspended �5,000 fine for fielding an ineligible player. Sheffield United's Colin Marrison appeared as a substitute for Bury in April when his loan deal had expired. The punishment was decided when Bury appeared before an independent Football Disciplinary Commission. The point loss does not affect Bury's final League placing, but if results had gone differently on the final day they could have been relegated.
