Chris Casper has become one of the youngest managers in league history after being handed the reins at Bury. The 30-year-old has been caretaker boss since Graham Barrow was sacked in September, leading the Shakers to one defeat in four games.
His first game as permanent manager will be against Darlington on Saturday.
Former Manchester United trainee Casper retired from playing at the age of 26 after breaking his leg in two places while at Reading two years earlier.
