| | Bury have signed former Crewe and Port Vale midfielder Phil Charnock. The 28-year-old has joined the Shakers on a non-contract basis and goes straight into Andy Preece�s squad for Saturday�s game against Kidderminster. Charnock, who started his career at Liverpool, was released by Vale at the end of last season, having previously spent six seasons at Crewe.
