Burton Albion have extended Leicester City centre-back Tom Parkes' loan deal until the end of the season.
The 18-year-old, who has yet to play for City, joined the League Two side on a month-long contract in January.
He has been involved in all three matches the Brewers have played since then and boss Paul Peschisolido was eager to keep him at the club.
Meanwhile, Brewers defender Tony James has agreed an extension to his deal to keep him there until June 2011.
